The Cedar Valley Sports Commission works with event owners to secure venues and event lodging and can offer assistance with event planning, logistics, and marketing.
The CVSC offers financial support to events by providing grant funding, paying event bid fees and providing bleachers and wrestling mats as in-kind support. In 2017, the Cedar Valley Sports Commission committed funding to 27 youth and amateur events that brought more than 42,000 visitors to the Cedar Valley and generated more than $8.5 million in economic impact in the Cedar Valley.
