The Cedar Valley Sports Commission works with event owners to secure venues and event lodging and can offer assistance with event planning, logistics, and marketing.
The CVSC offers financial support to events by providing grant funding, paying event bid fees and providing bleachers and wrestling mats as in-kind support. In 2019, the Cedar Valley Sports Commission committed funding to 35 youth and amateur events that brought more than 47,000 visitors to the Cedar Valley and generated more than $12.5 million in economic impact in the Cedar Valley.
The Iowa 7v7 Football Back to Ballin' Tournament returns to the UNI-Dome for it's 2nd year on April 9 & 10. The event will feature youth teams from across the Midwest for the 2-day tournament!
